SOLICITATION POLICY
The Board recommends these simple guidelines regarding selling items at church:
- If adults or children desire to present their fundraising project to our congregation, we request that they DO NOT SOLICIT INDIVIDUALS, but instead they may set up a table in OBR during social time, allowing anyone interested to come to them. They may briefly announce what they have to sell, and for what cause during social time.
- In addition, for members who like to share their talents/services with the congregation, a bulletin board may be set up where they can pin business cards.
No member of the congregation may use the Weekly Newsletter or any part of the Sunday Service to solicit financial donations without the prior approval of the appropriate committee or the Board of Trustees.
