Steve talked about “God, Atheism, and the Meaning of Life” at our Marketplace of the Mind in 2013. Today he will discuss the relevance of religion, especially theistic religion, to the meaning of life. Steve is hoping for audience participation at key junctures as we consider what Steve calls the worthwhileness and higher-purpose versions of the question of the meaning of life. He can’t guarantee that by the end of the sermon your lives will be more meaningful; but he thinks you will have a better idea of what people might mean when they talk about the meaning of life.
