Philosophy of Emotion, Especially Love

Philosophers have been intrigued by emotion since ancient times, perhaps especially by love.  I would like to focus on personal love, not only because of its general interest but because of its relevance to Unitarian Universalism. After indicating that relevance, I will consider four philosophical theories of personal love.  I will conclude with some questions for the audience.
