We like to think of ourselves as fair-minded people — and most of us genuinely are. Yet implicit bias shapes our perceptions and actions in ways that often contradict our deepest values. Drawing on social science research and UU principles, this talk explores what it means to truly pay attention — and why noticing is the first step toward change.
