Unitarian Universalists affirm the worth and dignity of every person; seek justice, equity, and compassion in human relations; and recognize that we are part of an interdependent web of all existence.  Our work for justice is grounded on these principles.

The Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Erie’s justice work encompasses environmental justice, social justice, and economic justice.

The social justice committee of the UUCE in conjunction and Reverend Church lead much of the justice work of the congregation.  Other work is done by committees or by the congregation as a whole.  At times on Sunday mornings we hear speakers who present perspectives from various segments of the Erie community.   At times we join in community activities, such as the annual Pride parade and the Martin Luther King, Jr. March.
