Rev. Marshall began her ministry here with a service presented on September 25 and she will be continuing with us for 10 months.
As a life-long Unitarian Universalist, she grew up in a small, lay-led fellowship. Years later, as a member of a UU church with multiple ministers, she accepted that ministry was meant to be a part of her life.
Her seminary journey began at John Carroll University in Shaker Heights, detoured through Southern Methodist University in Dallas, and finished up at Meadville Lombard Theological School in Chicago.
Since her ordination in 2003 she has served First Universalist Church in Southold, New York; the UU Church of Blanchard Valley in Findlay, Ohio and most recently, First Unitarian Church in Toledo, Ohio.
Rev. Marshall, together with her husband Tony Wilgus, makes her home in Oberlin, Ohio. They are parents to five grown children and grandparents to six grandchildren, who live across the country.
