117 years later, the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Erie follows the tradition begun by the ladies in1900. The rummage sale has morphed into a garage sale and the bargains continue. Now in the summers, the garage sale offers affordable clothing, furniture, appliances, tools, kitchen items, household goods, jewelry, sports equipment, instruments, music, shoes, art, decorations, toys, hardware, electronics, books, books, books and more. Entry tickets (free, they are just a way of counting attendance and to avoid over-crowding the building) will be available at 8:00 AM and doors open at 9:00 AM.
